Some apps are great in collecting info, others are great in organizing, others are great word processors.
Alas, there's no ONE PC application that can do it all, so I'm using a combination... OneNote is a great tool to gather all kinds of info. You can dump everything inside - webpages, files on your PC, images... Love it. SuperNotecard is a great replacement to my notecards and my corkboard. Mindjet MindManager is another superb way to organize your information by building mind maps. PageFour is a cool alternative to Word - it's a writers-oriented word processor allowing you to organize your scenes and chapters in "notebooks" so you can write in a nonlinear fashion.
Now, for Mac users... Scrivener is The Thing :)
Take care, Dawn.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09010457002600076220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13828300.post-1146193114678432122006-04-27T19:58:00.000-07:002006-04-27T19:58:00.000-07:00Hello Keith... just a quick note to let you know t...Hello Keith... just a quick note to let you know that I've enjoyed reading through some of your recent posts. And I smiled when, in one post you mentioned your Neo... I'm assuming that you mean an AlphaSmart Neo.

I bought the AlphaSmart 3000 in the fall of 2003... most of the major scenes in my novel have been written on my AlphaSmart at various beaches, first in Maui and now here in Florida. Can anyone ask for a better office?

Aloha,
SueSuperMomNoCapehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12477612688870640482noreply@blogger.com
